The only true talent in this band was Steve. In his early days Steve chose to be a friend to all he came across first then he put music second all while music is what fueled his heart and soul. Then when he took the stage, he dedicated his life's energy to entertaining his friends. His father Gerry was a major influence in his life that taught Steve how to act and support himself in order to become well known in his neighborhood as a good person, always looking out for the underdog, and stepping up when no one else would. Unfortunately coke and harder drugs that he started using in his late teens would lead him down a path of darkness and it wasn't soon before he forgot about the hundreds of friends he made along the way that admired him which, only led to disappointment for them by the addict he became, and in return caused him to lose his fan base. In his later days, he ignored many other non drug using talented musicians that would have been more than dedicated to reach stardom with him yet he chose the 'tough guys' that provided better drugs, were not talented but had 'the look' or 'attitude', and eventually his arrogance would be the destruction of this once very talented musician. RIP Steve. I'll never forget the day you listened to me sing 18 and Life, Paradise City, and Dead or Alive perfectly then had the audacity to tell me though I had the voice, I didn't have the look or attitude to sing for your band then you did a big fat line of coke off the dashboard of my car. As far as Cris Fazio, though he could duplicate any guitar riff he listened to, he was never in his life able to write anything reflecting even a mere light of talent in his life. He would have been better off creating a cover band as this is where his talent ended, playing other people's music. As far as Mike Busa, though he grew up playing his heart out, he as well never possessed the talent to write a single song that would gain recognition on any level at all as talent. He came from a very loving family as Pat would support his weed use and drinking yet he never listened to his father Charlie who constantly pushed him to write top 40 music. Mike at one time was a very talented musician when it came to playing pop which at the time was very popular and Charlie had contacts to get him gigs, but his heart was set on becoming a metal guitarist which at the time were underground gigs that were ruled by the likes of the Circle Jerks and Ambugalard, later to be known as Merilyn Manson, though he had offers to join these bands, he denied and soon it became the downfall of his career. As far as Al Reese, what a fucking joke that dude was and if there is any one reason of Steve's downfall, it's this dude. Steve fell in 'dude' love with this walnut brained moron who was a coke addict, had no talent at all, and was an obsessive compulsive due to his parents never separating after their divorce. He stood 6' 6" with wavy long natural blond hair, could play guitar on an elementary level, and had coke connections due to his father. Even though Gerry told Steve to lose this loser, Steve didn't listen due to his obsession of Al becoming his lead man for his band simply for his looks, Al was a loser with zero talent and became the number one reason for the downfall of Steve. As far as who I am, I'll leave you with this, you never listened, you never paid attention, when you wrote me off as a geek, you lost your future in music and today I'm a very successful studio musician in Nashville. All in all, fuck you, I won.
